Running from November 21 to December 29, this heartwarming production captures the spirit of the 1947 film, which quickly became a beloved holiday tradition.
A Timeless Christmas Story
Written by Valentine Davies and directed by George Seaton, Miracle on 34th Street has been adapted for the stage, television, and radio over the years, thanks to its timeless themes of kindness, belief, and the magic of Christmas.
The story follows Kris Kringle, who takes a job as Santa at Macy’s department store and begins spreading Christmas cheer. When he insists that he’s the real Santa Claus, he’s met with doubt from a skeptical little girl and the adults around her. The situation escalates when Macy’s executives take Kris to court, where he must prove he’s truly Santa. As the courtroom drama unfolds, the audience is left to wonder—can there really be a Santa Claus?
This heartwarming tale reminds us of the power of belief, the kindness of others, and the magic of the holiday season.
