Description
Welcome to Gloom Town! Rory lives in a gray world, longing for a life beyond his small, quiet town. When he takes a job at a mysterious manor, secrets unfold, revealing truths about the town, the manor, and even himself. With courage and heart, Rory must rise to save Gloom and its people.
Young creatives from Calgary collaborate each year with professional choreographers and theatre artists to bring a new story to life.
This year’s performance is an exciting adaptation of Gloom Town by Ronald L. Smith, brought to you by Alberta Dance Theatre, a longstanding, inclusive youth dance organization since 1979.

Where can parking be found at the DJD Dance Centre?
The DJD Dance Centre parkade is open for evening and Saturday performances only. A parking code will be sent by email a few days before the event. Additionally, street parking and two nearby parking lots—located in front and behind the centre—are available.
What age group will enjoy this performance the most?
