Celebrate the fall season with a beloved tradition at Bear Creek Park’s Bear Creek Lights event, a magical experience that has been creating lasting memories for over a decade.
Nestled in one of the city’s most vibrant parks, Bear Creek Park features one of the lower mainland's finest year-round show gardens, setting the perfect backdrop for this stunning light display. Visitors can wander through a one-kilometer illuminated walking loop and enjoy nature like never before, with dazzling light displays, whimsical creatures, and incredible photo opportunities.
This family-friendly event is safe and accessible, ensuring everyone can enjoy the beauty of Bear Creek Park at their own pace. Plus, food trucks will be available nightly to keep guests fueled throughout the experience.
New for 2024: The event space at the spray park, highlighted by a giant lit tree, offers even more to enjoy. Arrive early to explore the food trucks, live music, and various family-friendly activities, including storytime.

- Live Music by Local Artists: Fridays & Saturdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Community Art: Don’t miss the stunning “Community at Home” sculpture by Surrey artist Cara Guri, displayed at the garden entrance throughout the event.
