Description
The 11th Annual Pipeline Materials Workshop 2024 - a must-attend event for all things pipeline materials! This workshop, held on June 24th and 25th, will focus on Charpy/DWTT or CTOD toughness of the pipe body or the weld HAZ in heavy gauge line pipe. The presentations will feature speakers from end-users of heavy gauge pipe to material testing/welding to pipe/steel companies.

- Hari Simha: Senior Principal Scientist at IICT, CSIR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY.
- Michael Gaudet: Project leader at EVRAZ N.A., focusing on improving line pipe and oil country tubular goods.
- Mark Cuglietta: Senior Research Engineer at C-FER Technologies, managing and executing research and testing programs related to material and product performance.

- Weixing Chen: Professor in the Dept. of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta.
- Tailin Ren: PhD Candidate at the University of Alberta, researching welding metallurgy in girth welding application.
