About the Event
After a successful series of events in 2023, the Hike & Yoga experience returns for another year of exploration and connection. Join Amanda and Alexandra for a mindful walk and yoga practice amidst the breathtaking forests of the North Shore. As spring ushers in a season of renewal, this event offers an opportunity to witness nature's changes and reflect on our own evolution.
What to Expect
- Small, Meaningful Community Group: Connect with like-minded individuals in an intimate setting.
- Nature Walk/Hike: Immerse yourself in the beauty of Vancouver's surroundings and explore natural elements.
- Shinrin Yoku: Learn about the Japanese practice of forest bathing and its therapeutic benefits.
- Guided Meditation: Cultivate mindfulness and presence through guided meditation practices.
- Yoga Practice: Ground yourself with a yoga session adapted to the natural environment.
- Healing Sounds: Experience deep relaxation during Savasana with healing sounds.
- Ayurvedic Wisdom: Gain insights into Ayurveda and its connection to nature.
- Optional Activities: Participate in Reiki healing, a cold plunge, and a sharing circle and picnic.
What to Bring
Remember to pack walking or running shoes/boots, layers and a jacket for changing weather conditions, a water bottle to stay hydrated, and a swimsuit and towel if you plan to take a plunge. Bring along a yoga mat or towel, although space may be limited, and consider bringing a journal and pen for optional reflection. Lastly, don't forget to pack snacks or a picnic to keep you fueled throughout the day.
Additional Information
Transportation to the event location is not included, but assistance with arranging carpools will be provided. All levels are welcomed, and limited tickets are available. Please arrive 10 minutes early for parking and meeting, and the exact location will be sent to attendees.
