A Truly Canadian Experience
On this tour, guests will be whisked away in comfortable sleds, filled with blankets to keep them warm, while they traverse forested trails. Along the way, there’s a stop for photos at a scenic lookout point. The tour concludes with a visit to an authentic yurt, where guests can enjoy hot apple cider and a delicious cookie.
The adventure begins with a short 20-minute shuttle ride from Whistler Village to the dogsled base in the Callaghan Valley. Upon arrival, participants are introduced to the history of mushing and taught some basic commands and handling techniques. After meeting their musher and team of dogs, the real journey begins. As the sled glides through the snowy trails, participants can sit back and take in the breathtaking views of Whistler's incredible backcountry.

What to Wear
