Description
Curling is a true sport for life. From the youth to the elderly, it has something to offer everyone with a variety of adapted versions of the game. BC is home to oldest curler in the world at 102 years old. Curling is an excellent recreational sport which offers physical activity & social interaction.
Not sure how to get started? You’ve come to the right place. The Marpole Curling Club is a fantastic place to learn to curl in Vancouver. With friendly instructors, affordable ice rentals and leagues for a wide range of abilities, you’ll be sliding like Jennifer Jones before you know it.
They will provide all the equipment you need
- grippers
- brooms
- sliders are included in the price.
They offer friendly, professional instruction, approximately 40 minutes, within the 2 hour rental time for a small additional cost to get you sliding and sweeping safely.
NOTE
Each sheet can accommodate up to a maximum of eight (8) people. We can accept up to 48 people on our six sheets of ice.
Smaller groups can rent individual sheets of ice simultaneously, although groups may receive instruction in larger groups if required.
All bookings must be made at least three days in advance. Please call the office to see if we can accommodate rentals within this three day window. The fully licensed lounge is not always open for all rentals. If you are requiring bar service, please call the office to ensure that this is something that can be arranged.
Please note no minors (under 19) after 10pm in lounge.
