The Experience
Their home base is Kinsmen Park, where you check in and board the shuttle. The shuttle takes paddlers up the river to Laurier Park Boat Launch, where the paddleboards are waiting. From there, the journey down the river begins, taking paddlers through Edmonton and back to Kinsmen Park. For those who prefer to bring their own paddleboard, a shuttle-only option is available. Additionally, guided tours are offered for those looking for a more structured experience.

Safety is a top priority, with a thorough safety talk and gear review before entering the river. The provided equipment includes premium custom inflatable paddleboards, lifejackets, paddles, and safety gear. Once on the river, paddlers can relax and enjoy the scenic views and peaceful flow of the water.

- How Do I Reserve My Paddleboard? Reserving your paddleboard and shuttle is easy. Reservations are made online directly through the Edmonton Paddleboarding website. They operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to hit the "Book Now" button and follow the prompts to secure your spot.
- What Should I Bring? It's highly likely that you'll get wet, especially when entering and exiting the river. It is recommended to wear river or beach-appropriate clothing and footwear. Drinking water and sunscreen are essential. Some additional items that can enhance your experience include snacks, beverages, coolers with ice, music, and a towel.
- Where Should I Park? There is ample parking throughout Kinsmen Park, including spots by the tennis courts, near the pitch-n-putt, and behind the sports center. If those areas are full, overflow parking is available in the neighborhood behind RE/MAX Field. Other transportation options include getting dropped off, taking a taxi, biking, using a car share service, or scootering down to Dawson Park.
