Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience on steep pitches, Banff Adventures provides both full and half-day ice climbing lessons. These sessions are designed to cater to different skill levels and are perfect for individuals or private groups. Certified guides from the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides lead the courses, ensuring a safe and informative experience.

Participants are fitted with all necessary equipment, including boots, crampons, ice tools, harnesses, and helmets. The guides start the day with basic ice climbing techniques and gradually move on to more challenging climbs as participants become more comfortable. • Full Day Ice Climbing Tour: This option offers approximately 6-7 hours of climbing. It's perfect for those who want a comprehensive introduction to ice climbing or those looking to refine their skills. The day starts with the basics and progresses to more advanced climbs, tailored to the skill level of the participants.
• Half Day Ice Climbing Tour: Ideal for those short on time, this tour provides about 3 hours of climbing. It's a condensed version of the full day tour, offering an exciting taste of ice climbing without committing the entire day. Like the full day option, the half-day tour is customizable to suit the participants' experience levels.
• Private Full Day Tour: Departing at 7:30 am, this tour spans 8 hours and includes 6-7 hours of climbing. The professional and certified guide will begin with the fundamentals and advance to more challenging options throughout the day. This private tour is suitable for groups up to six people, including children aged 10 and up. It's an exciting family or group activity that can be tailored to the participants' skill levels, ensuring a fun and memorable experience.
