E-Foil Rentals at Wakepilot offer an exhilarating new way to experience Osoyoos Lake. Partnering with MSLR from Kelowna, a leader in this emerging technology, Wakepilot provides an eco-friendly adventure on the water. E-foils are essentially surfboards with a mast and hydrofoil wing that generates lift as the electric motor propels the board forward. With a top speed of 40 km/h, riders can literally fly above the water without the need for wind, waves, or fossil fuels.

E-foil rentals are available with or without an instructor. Sessions typically last about an hour, depending on the rider's learning curve and speed. To rent an e-foil solo, one must first receive instruction from Wakepilot staff or demonstrate proficiency to Wakepilot standards.

Solo rentals are available from the Walnut Beach location, while rentals with an instructor can be arranged at any suitable waterfront area that is deep enough and free of obstacles and heavy boat traffic. Safety gear, including a vest and helmet, is provided and mandatory at all times.

Proficiency in e-foiling is required for solo rentals. After receiving instruction from Wakepilot staff or demonstrating adequate skills, solo riders can enjoy the freedom of e-foiling on their own. All necessary safety equipment is provided and must be worn at all times.

Riders can expect a unique and thrilling experience, feeling like they are flying over the water. The e-foils combine the torque and longevity of a lithium battery with the efficiency of a hydrofoil, providing about an hour of flight time. The MSLR E-Foil is designed with lightweight, durable materials and offers excellent traction and protection with grooved EVA pads.
