The LFGA Shooting Sports Facility offers an exceptional experience for shooters of all levels. Participants can practice precision shooting with rifles on the Big Bore range, hone their skills with handguns and rimfire weapons, or enjoy the challenge of shotgun sports like skeet, trap, and sporting clays. The archery ranges provide a perfect setting for both novice and experienced archers to improve their accuracy. Each range is designed to offer a safe and enjoyable experience, making it an ideal spot for individuals and groups to enhance their shooting skills.
Range Safety and Protocols
While the range exceeds required safety standards, the LFGA Executive has established a set of Range Safety Protocols to ensure public safety. Key documents for range operations include:

Range Options
The LFGA Shooting Sports Facility offers a variety of ranges tailored to different shooting needs:
- Range 1 – Archery Ranges
- Range 2s – Special Use Shotgun Slugs
- Range 2 – Big Bore (Rifle Only)
- Range 3 – .22lr Calibre Only
- Range 4 – Handgun & Rimfire Only
- Range 5 – Handgun and Rimfire Only
- Range 6 – Shotgun Range (Skeet, Trap & Sporting Clays)
- Range 7 – Special Use Only (by arrangement)
LFGA Range Bookings
For advance bookings, an email should be sent to the Range Operator including the name and phone number, the number in the group, the date and time desired, and the type of shooting planned. A designated LFGA Range Officer will respond within 48 hours.
Special Notices & Information
- Steel core ammunition is prohibited at the LFGA range.
- Canadian Firearms Safety Course and LFGA Range Officer Certification Course are available.
- The Range Approval Certificate may be requested by the CFO for RPal.
- Incident Reports are required for any incidents on the range.
The LFGA Range Calendar should be checked for availability before using the facility. If a range is rented or reserved for an event, it is generally not open for other uses. For renting a range for personal or group use, contact the Range Operator.
