The Lessons
Windsure Adventure Watersports provides a range of windsurfing lessons tailored to various skill levels. The Vancouver location offers excellent facilities designed to ensure a high-quality learning experience. Here are the available courses:
- Discover Windsurfing I: This introductory course is ideal for beginners. Over a three-hour session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of windsurfing, including the sport’s history, equipment basics, wind theory, steering, tacking, and safety protocols for water and marine environments. Small group sizes (one to four participants) ensure personalized instruction and ample time on both land and water, culminating in practical sailing exercises.
- Discover Windsurfing II: Building on the basics from Discover Windsurfing I, this course aims to reinforce foundational skills and introduce advanced techniques such as gybing, equipment maintenance, and more complex maneuvers. The small group setting (one to four participants) enhances learning through personalized feedback and extensive water practice.
