Regular Classes

  • Morning Blend: A perfect way to ease into a new week with a blend of flow and longer-held postures. Explore mobility and build confidence through playful exercises.
  • Gentle Flow:  Great for beginners and those seeking the therapeutic benefits of yoga. Move slowly into basic poses, using breath to stay present and mindful.
  • Hatha:  Delve into static and dynamic postures, pranayama, chakra awareness, and deep relaxation. Suitable for all levels with modifications for more challenging poses.
  • Slow Flow:  Marry breath with movement, exploring traditional Hatha shapes and variations. Start slow, build internal heat, and end with deeply relaxing asanas.

Specialty Classes

  • Young at Heart (50+ Yoga) An upbeat class for yogis aged 50+, focusing on basic fitness, coordination, joint stability, strength, balance, and zest for life. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
  • Gentle Flow Open to all levels, especially beginners. This soothing practice moves slowly into basic poses, emphasizing breath to stay present.
  • Rest, Re-set + Relaxation: Target the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This practice stands alone or complements dynamic yoga styles.
  • Sleepy Time: Prime for bedtime with a slow flow to release tension, transitioning into restorative poses to settle the mind and body.
  • Deep Release:  Blend movement with breath and long holds, including traditional and restorative poses. Release tension and set up for a restful evening, suitable for all levels.

Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga

In addition to these classes, Breathing Room offers specialized Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. Deepen the connection with yourself and your baby while preparing for labor and delivery through Prenatal Yoga. This class includes yoga postures designed to build strength, stability, and mobility, along with comfort measures to alleviate specific aches and pains. Post-birth, Mom + Baby Yoga STRENGTH focuses on regaining core strength and stretching tense areas, providing an opportunity to bond with your baby through yoga moves and infant massage.

  • Private Yoga Sessions: Personalized instruction to address unique goals, assist with injury rehabilitation, develop a customized daily practice, and ensure precise alignment of postures.
