Manning Park Resort offers an array of trails suitable for horseback riding enthusiasts. Explore the backcountry wilderness along trails such as Dewdney, Windy Joe, Poland Lake, Similkameen East and West, North Gibson, Little Muddy, and Hope Pass. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature and soak in the breathtaking views as you traverse these picturesque routes. Manning Park Resort does not provide rental horses. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own horses to enjoy the trails.
Camping with Horses
For those seeking a deeper immersion into nature, camping with horses is available at Manning Park Resort's Headwaters Corral, as well as along the Dewdney and Hope Pass trails. Spend the night under the stars and experience the magic of camping amidst the serene beauty of the backcountry.

Scheduled to open during the May long weekend and operating on weekends only, the Boathouse at Lightning Lake Day Use Area offers a variety of watercraft rentals for adventurers of all ages.
Whether you prefer the tranquility of a canoe, the agility of a kayak, or the stability of a stand-up paddleboard, Manning Park Resort has you covered. Select from two-seater canoes, five-person Mackenzie canoes, rowboats, kayaks, tandem kayaks, or stand-up paddleboards.
