Description
Swimming is a great way for your dog to exercise and have fun. They offer a clean, safe and modern alternative to taking your dog down to the beach. The pool is open all year round so you can treat your dog to a fun swim session no matter what season it is.
For recreational group swims, dog owners are required to book online for a group swim time. The swims will begin on the hour and run for 45 minutes allowing time to sweep and mop the pool, pool deck, and the outer area of the facility.
All dogs are welcome as long as they are social and happy!
What if my dog doesn't know how to swim?
They also offer private 1:1 swim lessons with instructor. He will get into the water, using positive reinforcement techniques and get your dog comfortable getting in and out of the water. These are very popular and take 45 minutes in length and can be booked online. They have packages for this as well.
How clean is the pool?
The pool is vacuumed daily and swept with a net between every swim. We use a ozone generator to decrease odor and increase comfort. The pool is 32’x16’x4′ with a sand filter pump and saltwater system. Compared to a chlorine pool, this creates minimal chemicals for your dogs. In the short and long term, your puppy’s fur and skin will be soft and healthy.
What should I bring?
- A towel
- A toy - like a ball or a frisbee is a great idea!
They rent towels and have balls and frisbees for sale as well.
Do I need to vaccinate & spayed/neutered my dog?
YES! Written proof of current vaccinations is required for Rabies, Bordetella & DHPP
Dogs that are older than six months must be spayed or neutered as well. All dogs must be on some form of flea prevention.
