Sailing | Boys, Boats & BeersGlenmore Sailing Club
Description
Unleash your sense of adventure and join for an exhilarating evening of Boys, Boats, and Beers at the Glenmore Sailing Club. This weekly activity invites participants to experience the thrill of sailing while enjoying great company and refreshing beverages.
Setting Sail
Under the guidance of an experienced skipper, you'll have the opportunity to trim the sails, work the jib, and take the tiller on one of the Club's keelboats. With just three participants per boat, you'll have plenty of hands-on experience and personalized coaching from your skipper. Before setting sail, they'll gather for a safety and sailing orientation dockside to ensure everyone is prepared for the adventure ahead.
Sailing Excursion
Once on the water, you'll spend approximately 90 minutes navigating the reservoir, soaking in the stunning views, and honing your sailing skills. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or new to the sport, there's something for everyone to enjoy during this unforgettable sailing excursion.
After the sails are stowed and the boats are safely back at the dock, it's time to continue the festivities at the Glenmore Sailing Club. Join your fellow sailors on the deck overlooking the reservoir for craft beer, BBQ'd brats, and lively conversation. Share stories from the evening's sailing adventure and toast to new friendships forged on the water.
