At WinSport's Canada Olympic Park, adventure knows no bounds. From mountain biking to downhill karting, this all-season destination offers a plethora of activities. One such exhilarating experience is the Zipline at the Park, nestled atop the iconic ski jump from the 1988 Winter Olympics.
Monster Zipline
Embark on an adrenaline-pumping journey along North America's fastest zipline. With speeds reaching up to 120 km/h and a vertical drop of over 100 meters, riders soar along a 500-meter cable, enjoying breathtaking views of the Bow River valley and northwest Calgary.
The adventure begins with a comprehensive orientation and instruction session. Riders then traverse three ziplines, starting with a training line to perfect their technique. Next, it's time for the main event: the Monster line, followed by a descent on the eight-storey Plaza zipline back to base.
Season Opening and Requirements
The Monster Zipline reopens for the 2024 season, offering weekend thrills until the end of June, followed by weekday operations starting in July. Riders must be at least 14 years old and weigh between 75 lbs/34 kg and 250 lbs/114 kg to participate.
Booking Information
For those seeking an hour of high-altitude excitement, booking in advance is recommended. Participants are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time and check in at Guest Services.
