Embark on a journey into the ancient craft of bow making with Lykopis Archery's Bowyer’s Workshops. These immersive workshops are designed to equip participants with the skills, techniques, and knowledge to craft their own bows, from novice to advanced levels.

• Introduction to Bowyery (I2B):The Introduction to Bowyery workshop is tailored for novice bowyers, providing hands-on experience with tools, materials, and techniques required to build a beginner bow. Participants will start with a pre-cut hardwood stave, learning the process from shaping to tillering, and crafting a D-shaped longbow. This interactive workshop lays the foundation for future bow crafting endeavors.
• Beginner Bowyers Workshop (BBW):Building upon the skills acquired in the Introduction to Bowyery workshop, the Beginner Bowyers Workshop focuses on applying those skills to a hardwood board. Participants will learn to shape the grip, tiller the bow, and explore optional enhancements such as reinforced nocks, exotic wood handle, and leather grip. This workshop offers the opportunity to create a laminate American long-flat bow with personalized touches.
• Intermediate Bowyers Workshop: In the Intermediate Bowyers Workshop, participants will work with hardwood staves to reveal their bows, while also learning to process and work with animal products to enhance bow strength. This workshop offers the chance to explore artistic decoration techniques, resulting in bows with the potential for legal hunting draw weight.
• Advanced Bowyers Workshop: For experienced bowyers seeking a challenge, the Advanced Bowyers Workshop offers the opportunity to work with Pacific Yew staves, renowned for their exceptional quality. Participants will learn to tiller their bows in this unique wood, creating bows with legal hunting draw weight and personalized touches using natural products and pigments.
