Join Lykopis Historical Horse Archery for a captivating journey into the world of equestrian archery. In partnership with Briana Hedge and The Grene Wode Manor Farm in Langley, this unique program offers ongoing weekly sessions designed to immerse participants in the fascinating fusion of archery and horsemanship.
Structured Learning Experience
The Lykopis Historical Horse Archery program provides a structured learning experience, consisting of two-hour sessions held weekly. Participants will have the opportunity to progressively develop their skills, alternating between archery and horsemanship exercises before integrating both disciplines.
Whether you're an experienced archer or a novice rider, this program welcomes participants of all backgrounds and skill levels. Previous experience in archery or horse riding is not required, making it accessible to anyone with a passion for learning.
Private and Semi-Private Lessons
In addition to the Historical Horse Archery program, Lykopis Archery offers private and semi-private lessons tailored to individual needs. From on-foot archery to riding and horse archery, participants can choose from a variety of lesson options to suit their interests and goals.
Meet the Team
Led by experienced instructors, the Lykopis team brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each session:
- Patricia Gonsalves: Founder and Head Instructor, Patricia combines her passion for archery with extensive training and experience in traditional and historical techniques.
- Louise Fisk: Horse Archery Coordinator and Instructor, Louise brings over two decades of experience in martial arts and equestrian sports to the program.
- Briana Hedge: Horsemanship Coach, Briana shares her expertise in equitation and horse training to facilitate a safe and enriching learning environment
Open Range Sessions
For those looking to hone their skills and refine their technique, Lykopis Archery offers Open Range sessions. These one-hour sessions provide an opportunity to practice under the guidance of a knowledgeable instructor, with a maximum of six participants per session.
