Description

Maple Ridge Archery Club, where families come together for the joy of archery. With an active Junior Olympian youth program and Try-It Nights, they offer a welcoming environment for both adults and juniors to explore the sport.

Try-It Nights

Maple Ridge Archery Club hosts Try-It Nights on scheduled Sundays during the Indoor season at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre gym. These sessions, running from 6:30pm-8:00pm, provide an opportunity to experience archery firsthand. Minimum age to attend is 9 years old, and no experience is necessary. All necessary equipment is provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own bow if they have one. 

During Trying Archery Nights, participants have the chance to develop their archery skills and learn the fundamentals of the sport under the guidance of certified instructors. From mastering proper form to honing their aim, attendees gain valuable insights and experience in a supportive and engaging environment.

Membership Info

For those looking to delve deeper into archery, Maple Ridge Archery Club offers memberships with various benefits. The membership year aligns with the calendar year (January through December), and new members joining from October to December receive an extended membership until December of the following year.

  • Never Shot a Bow Before?: No problem! Maple Ridge Archery Club's Trying Archery Nights are designed for newcomers to the sport.   • Child/Teen Interested in Learning?: Maple Ridge Archery Club offers coached junior programs suitable for ages 9 and up. Contact them to inquire about upcoming sessions and registration.
  • Not a Club Member?: Non-members are welcome to shoot at the club for a drop-in fee. However, after three visits, non-members are required to purchase at least a BC Archery membership. Those with their own equipment can also pay a drop-in fee for each visit.
  • Membership Duration: Memberships are valid for the calendar year, with new members joining in the last quarter of the year receiving an extended membership until the following December. Summer memberships are valid for the Outdoor season only.
