Monotype printmaking is a versatile process where artists create prints by drawing or painting on a smooth, non-absorbent surface. The image is then transferred onto paper by hand pressing. This technique offers endless creative possibilities and can be repeated by cleaning and re-inking the surface.

This workshop is suitable for artists of all levels who wish to explore the exclusive and classic methods of creating art, including encaustic painting and monotype printmaking.

During the workshop, you will:

• Explore various monotype printmaking techniques using acrylic paint of different viscosities.
• Learn wax techniques to paint with beeswax and create mono-prints.

• Create two finished panels with mounted prints and encaustic medium.
