Heli Biking, now operating under the adventure-specific brand AlpX Expeditions, introduces a newly constructed trail in the newly tenured area of Hidden Peak. This remote area, nestled between Whistler and Pemberton, offers riders an unparalleled biking experience.
With options catering to both Advanced (Middle Peak) and Expert (Hidden Peak) skill levels, and featuring a mix of technical and flow trail sections, there's something for riders of all abilities to enjoy on this epic Whistler biking adventure.
Trail Details
Advanced Middle Peak Trail
- Length: 9km / 5.5mi
- Elevation: 1920m - 720m (1300m Descent) / 6299ft - 2034ft (4265ft Descent)
- Difficulty: Strong Intermediate to Expert
- Riding Style: Downhill (No E-Bikes)
- Terrain: Alpine single-track, rock slabs, cedar groves, technical sections, berms, jumps, flow
Expert Hidden Peak Trail
- Length: 12km / 7.5mi
- Elevation: 2220m - 720m (1500m Descent & 110m Climb) / 7283ft - 2034ft (5249ft Descent & 360ft Climb)
- Difficulty: Expert
- Riding Style: Enduro/Downhill (Enduro bike recommended)
- Terrain: Alpine ridge, rock slab, cedar grove, meadows, berms, jumps, flow, climb trail

Ability Level
This adventure is suited for riders of an Advanced to Expert level. Due to the length and technical nature of the trail, riders are encouraged to have experience riding Black Diamond Downhill/Enduro trails. Please note that trail ratings in Whistler may be more challenging compared to other locations.
What to Bring & Wear
Please come prepared with appropriate biking attire, including helmets and personal protection equipment. Additionally, bring essential items such as water, food, and repair kits. Cameras may be used during the ride, but drones and selfie sticks are prohibited. E-Bikes are not allowed on the trails.
Safety
Safety is paramount on their heli-biking tours. Their bike patrol staff ensures trail safety and etiquette, and all riders are equipped with radios for communication in case of emergencies. Minimum age requirement is 15 years old.
Taking a Guide
Whiletheir trails are well-marked, a guided option is available for those seeking additional support. Guides provide assistance with technical sections, mechanical issues, and ensure seamless communication with the operations base.
