Chef owned and operated, The Pastry Training Centre offers serious and intense hands-on courses for professionals and aspiring home chefs alike. The Professional Artisan Bread Baking Certificate Program is designed to provide comprehensive training in the art of bread making, led by industry experts with a passion for the craft.

The Workshop Experience

Classes are taught in a maximum 8-1 student / Instructor ratio, ensuring personalized attention and tailored instruction for every participant. With a very hands-on approach to learning, students delve into the fundamentals of baking, from mastering traditional techniques to exploring innovative methods.

This 6-week (48 hours) intensive hands-on program covers a wide range of bread types, including French breads, Italian breads, German breads, crusty breads, soft breads, whole wheat breads, healthy whole grain breads, Viennoiserie, and sourdough breads. Students will learn to create and bake to the highest professional level, preparing them for success in the industry.

Led by Master Pastry Chef Marco Röpke, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in the pastry arts. From foundational techniques to advanced methods, participants gain valuable insights and practical experience.

Small Class Sizes

Through small size classes and individual workstations, students have the opportunity to work with first-class quality ingredients and engage in a collaborative learning environment. Each student has their own exclusive set of materials, allowing for a focused and immersive experience.
