Harcourt House Artist Run Centre, located in Edmonton, is a leading public visual arts institution and art education center. Their mission is to develop, present, and interpret contemporary art and design, fostering transformative experiences by connecting art with local and global communities. Long Weekend with the Model

Enhance your figure drawing skills by participating in the "Long Weekend with the Model" sessions at Harcourt House. These sessions offer the opportunity to draw from a live model in various poses and durations. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, all levels are welcome. Easels, tables, and chairs are provided, but participants must bring their own drawing materials. The event spans over the long weekend, featuring two sessions per day with short poses in the morning and long poses in the afternoon.

Behind the Studio Door

Ever been curious about figure drawing sessions? Join Ross Bradley, one of Harcourt House's senior drawing instructors, for "Behind the Studio Door." In this workshop, you'll explore various drawing exercises to grasp the fundamental principles of figure drawing. From learning about proportion and anatomy to creating sketches of a professional model, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels, with no prior drawing experience required. All materials will be provided for participants.

Studio Space

Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is proud to offer studio space for rent, providing local practicing artists and non-profit arts-related organizations with affordable and conducive environments to create and collaborate. With 42 low-rent studios available, Harcourt House is one of the largest communities of visual artists in Edmonton.
