Pottery 101 is an introductory workshop offered at Studio 72 Workshops, where participants delve into the basics of working with clay and mastering the art of throwing on the pottery wheel. This immersive experience spans 60 to 90 minutes, during which attendees create their own pottery pieces from scratch.
The Experience
Suitable for all skill levels, Pottery 101 workshops provide a hands-on opportunity for individuals to explore their creativity in a supportive environment. From shaping the clay to choosing a glaze color, participants are guided through every step of the process. Once completed, their creations are trimmed, fired, and ready for pick-up three weeks later.
The studio operates as an 18+ space, ensuring a focused and mature atmosphere for artistic endeavors. Masks are mandatory while working in the studio, aligning with safety measures to prioritize the well-being of all participants.

With four studio rooms, 23 wheels, and three electric kilns firing to Cone 6, the ceramics studio offers state-of-the-art facilities for pottery enthusiasts.
