Cat Cafe on Whyte offers a unique experience where good coffee and rescue cats come together in harmony. As Alberta's first Cat Cafe, they provide a cozy space where visitors can relax and cuddle with some of the cutest cats in the city.
The cafe proudly serves high-quality coffee and specialty drinks roasted just blocks away at ACE coffee roasters. Their expert baristas craft gourmet coffee beverages using freshly roasted beans. With a wide selection of cat-themed drinks available, patrons can enjoy their beverages hot or cold, with a choice of almond, soy, oat, skim, or whole milk. Additionally, the cafe offers a variety of teas and staff favorites to explore.
The cafe welcomes visitors of all ages, with specific supervision requirements for children aged 6 and under. Footwear must be removed, and socks worn at all times in the lounge, with cat-themed socks available for purchase if needed
Cozy & Relaxing Cat Lounge
Step into the spacious yet homey Cat Lounge, designed to provide a tranquil environment for both humans and cats. This cozy space allows visitors to enjoy their coffee while spending quality time with the resident cats in a comfortable home-like setting.
Rescue Cats Looking for Homes
Cat Cafe on Whyte is home to six long-term fosters, and any additional cats are adoptable through their partner shelter, SAFE Team. Visitors have the opportunity to interact with these cats and potentially find their new furry companion.
Yoga with Cats
Each month, the cafe hosts a cat yoga session in partnership with Prana Yoga Studio. This mixed-level class runs from 8:30-9:30AM and includes 30 minutes before and after the yoga session to enjoy some morning cat time in the lounge. Reservations are mandatory for this popular event.
