Pottery Wheel Throwing WorkshopBowness Soapworks
Description
Unleash your artistic spirit and delve into the therapeutic world of pottery with our immersive Pottery Wheel Throwing Workshop.
Led by the skilled hands of Melba, this experience transcends the traditional bounds of pottery—it's a journey of self-discovery and embracing the beauty of imperfection.
The Process
Experience the art of "centering" as you throw on the wheel—an analogy for finding balance in both pottery and life. This creative process involves two kiln firings: the first in a bisque firing and the second in a glaze firing. Your masterpiece will be ready for pickup in 2-4 weeks, allowing the clay to transform into a tangible expression of your creativity.
Expectations
Pottery, being a fine art, may not always yield expected results, and breakage is a part of the artistic journey. While we strive for successful outcomes, guests are advised that a 100% guarantee of a complete piece isn't feasible. The workshops are designed to be experiential, where the creative process itself becomes the highlight.
