Class Structure and Offerings
Classes at Edge City range between 6 and 22 hours, with a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure personalized attention. Students can learn handbuilding techniques to make functional and decorative pieces, and also explore wheel throwing. After the workshop, students can choose two pieces from each technique to be dried and fired, with a follow-up session to paint and glaze them.

The workshop is equipped with top-quality machines and a variety of workbenches and vises. Located in the artistic community of the Mergatroid Building in East Vancouver, it offers an inspiring environment for learning woodworking.

Edge City offers a clear progression for students, starting with 'Essentials' classes for beginners, moving to 'Beyond Basics' for extended knowledge, and then to 'Projects' where students can work on personal projects with guidance from instructors.
