Bella Ceramica Studio, established in 1996 in West Vancouver, invites you to delve into the world of clay hand-building and wheel techniques. Suitable for beginners and returning students alike, these workshops are ideal for creating both functional and decorative clay pieces.
Workshop Experience
During the two-hour workshop, the first hour is dedicated to hand-building techniques, where you can craft unique art pieces in clay. The second hour focuses on wheel throwing, taught through demonstrations and one-on-one instruction. At the end of the workshop, participants select two pieces from each technique for firing.
Workshop Adaptability
For groups larger than two, the workshop duration can be adjusted to ensure ample time for each participant to practice on the wheel. A non-refundable deposit is required, but you can reschedule once without penalty 10 days prior to the original date.
Special Offerings for Children
The studio also offers a unique opportunity to capture hand and footprints of little ones in clay, creating lasting memories. These items usually take about three weeks to dry and fire, after which you can return to paint and personalize them.

The cost of working with clay is all-inclusive, covering the return visit to paint the fired items. Items typically take around three weeks to dry and fire. Once ready, you can paint your creations, which will then undergo a final firing.
