Description
If you're looking to take an adventure that will make your heart pound, then look no further than Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is an iconic and popular tourist attraction in Vancouver. The reason it's so popular? It offers visitors a unique mix of adventure, history, and culture.
Inside the park, you can find 3 main attractions: Capilano Suspension Bridge, Treetops Adventure, and Cliffwalk
Capilano Suspension Bridge
The majestic 450-foot-long Suspension Bridge is a sight to behold as it swings back and forth above the Capilano River. Visitors can enjoy tremendous views of both lush forest floors below or crystal clear waters in between mountains on either side, all while being suspended 230 feet up.
Treetops Adventure
Treetops Adventure is a series of seven suspension bridges attached to eight 30-ton, 250-year-old Douglas-firs. Built in 2004, this award-winning attraction was designed to accommodate the continuous growth of the trees.
Instead of penetrating the trees with nails or bolts, the viewing platforms are attached using an innovative adjustable tree collar system. Healthy, centuries-old trees and a breathtaking view—Treetops Adventure is unlike any canopy walk in the world.
Cliffwalk
It is a series of narrow bridges, stairs, and platforms that follow along the Capilano River. The granite precipice it's built on has only 16 anchor points supporting this structure!
In all seasons, their doors are open from morning until evening. Only closed on Christmas day! Planning a visit? Check out their Seasonal opening hours. Please note that hours are subject to change
