Description
Located in the Canadian Rockies, Horseback Riding Tours offer a unique opportunity to connect with nature through their captivating views. Designed to transport riders back more than two centuries, these experiences provide a taste of the pioneer spirit that shaped the region. Choose from a variety of rides, ranging from one to four hours, departing from stables in Banff.
Discover the Rides
- Bow River Ride (1 Hour): Set off on an hourly adventure along the Bow River every day. This one-hour tour lets you soak in the scenery, including the natural sulphur hot springs flowing from the historic Cave & Basin, the birthplace of Banff's hot springs. Plus, there's a special evening ride at 5:30 pm for those who love sunsets.
- Spray River Ride (1 Hour): Also departing every hour, daily, this one-hour journey takes you across the stunning Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. You'll get to appreciate the manicured beauty of the golf course and the tranquility of the Spray River.
- Sundance Loop Ride (2 Hours): Available three times a day at 9:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm, this two-hour ride is an extended version of the Bow River Ride. It takes you through the peaceful Bow River area, past the historic Cave and Basin, and up Sulphur Mountain for some seriously impressive views.
- Bow Valley Loop Ride (3 Hours): Embark on this three-hour exploration, departing daily at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. It offers a diverse landscape, from the historic Cave & Basin area to enchanting forests, perfect for nature lovers.
- Sulphur Mountain Ride (4 Hours): For those with a bit more time, this four-hour ride starts at 12:30 pm every day. It takes you from Banff, two-thirds up Sulphur Mountain, offering panoramic views of Rundle Mountain, Spray River, Banff Springs Golf Course, and Bow Falls. A real treat for the eyes!
