Vancouver Island Goat YogaVI Goga
Description
If you're on Vancouver Island and looking for a unique and therapeutic experience that combines yoga and animal therapy, Vancouver Island Goat Yoga, or VI Goga, should be on your must-visit list. Founded by Dana Haydon and Mat McTaggart, VI Goga is a charming blend of yoga and goat farming, a combination that sets it apart from conventional yoga studios.
Goat Yoga: A Unique and Joyful Experience
Goat yoga is an inclusive activity suitable for anyone, from seasoned yogis to first-time participants. Whether you're experienced in yoga, goat interaction, or entirely new to both, you'll find VI Goga's classes to be a delightful experience. The goats, with their remarkable ability to form instant connections with people, are known to produce lots of smiles, giggles, and happiness.
Experience the Magic of Nigerian Dwarf Goats
VI Goga's classes feature Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and all sessions are designed to accommodate varying levels of yoga and goat interaction experience. Participants must be at least 16 years old, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
No prior experience is necessary, making it accessible to all. To ensure a comfortable experience, attendees are advised to bring a towel to use as a yoga mat. As farm animals, the goats are not 'potty trained,' so accidents may occur. But fret not, as VI Goga always has attendants on hand to promptly address any mishaps. Feel free to bring your camera or cell phone to capture the delightful moments during the classes.
VI GOGA IS AWAY ON MATERNITY LEAVE FOR 2023. PLEASE CHECK BACK SPRING 2024 FOR OUR FUTURE GOAT EVENTS AND OFFERINGS!
