SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While the Mountain Zipline Tours promise adventure, safety is the top priority. Here are some important safety requirements to keep in mind:
Weight Restrictions: Participants must weigh between 32kg (70 lbs) and 114kg (250 lbs), including clothing and footwear.
Helmets are a Must: Everyone must wear the helmet provided by Grouse Mountain. Please note that not all forms of religious headwear may be compatible with these helmets.
Health Precautions: This activity is not recommended for individuals with spinal injuries or expectant mothers due to safety concerns.
Footwear Matters: Appropriate footwear is required, and open-toed shoes or sandals are not permitted.
Height and Weight Check: Expect staff to confirm participant height and weight measurements at check-in, and any discrepancies will be resolved based on measurements taken by Grouse Mountain staff.
CHECK-IN AND LOGISTICS
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, here are some logistics to keep in mind:
Arrival Time: Plan to arrive at the base of the mountain at least 60 minutes before your scheduled tour time to allow time for boarding the Skyride and reaching the top for your tour.
Check-In Location: Tour check-in is situated in the Mountaintop Plaza, conveniently located across from the Peak Chalet. Be sure to check in at least 20 minutes before your tour time.
Locker Rentals: Lockers are available for a small fee ($2) to securely store your belongings while you're on the zipline tour.
Facilities: The nearest washrooms can be found on the main floor of the Peak Chalet.
Liability Waiver: If you haven't already completed an exclusion of liability waiver, you'll be asked to do so at check-in. Parents or guardians must complete a waiver for individuals under the age of 19.
