Description
Goat Yoga Connection at Haute Goat Farm offers a unique and heartwarming twist on traditional yoga. Set on a stunning 200-acre farm just outside of Toronto, participants can enjoy yoga sessions amidst the playful presence of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. These friendly goats move freely through the class, providing comfort, stress relief, and comic relief.
The joyous energy is contagious as goats might steal your heart—and your mat—for a quick nap. Don't be surprised if a baby goat bounces on your back while you're holding a pose.
This is far from a serious studio-style practice. Instead, it’s an unforgettable outdoor session that brings laughter, balance, and a deep connection to nature.
Prepare for Your Goat Yoga Experience
To make the most of your Goat Yoga session, dress appropriately for the weather. In the spring and summer, boots are recommended for muddy conditions. In the winter, bundle up to stay warm as the farm is located on a hill.
Bring your own yoga mat, or rent one on-site. Comfortable clothing is a must, as goats might jump on your back or sit on your mat, leaving adorable hoof prints. For those with long hair, tying it back is advised as baby goats love to nibble on loose hair!
Explore Haute Goat Farm
Haute Goat Farm is more than just Goat Yoga. With 200 acres of picturesque farm to explore, visitors can encounter a variety of animals, including Huacaya Alpacas, Exotic Chickens, and Icelandic Horses. There’s also the Screaming Goat Café offering a delicious farm-to-table menu, perfect for a post-yoga meal.
For younger children, Goat Shmurgle, Mini Inclusive Shmurgle, and Toodle Tour are recommended. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Don't forget to bring a fully charged phone and plenty of photo space to capture the magical moments!
Haute Goat Farm's Goat Yoga Connection is a seasonal activity running from May to September. In the event of rain, adjustments will be made to ensure the comfort of both participants and the goats.
