The winery is situated on a 5-acre hobby farm and combines their passions for beekeeping and winemaking. This combination led to the exploration of the lost tradition of Mead or Honey Wine, which has since been developed into a drier, more sophisticated honey wine that can be appreciated for many years. Honey wine has the unique characteristic of aging like a red wine, making it a perfect choice for white wine drinkers who want to command a spot in the finest cellars and enjoy the depth and breadth of ever-changing flavors over time.
At Festina Lente Estate Winery, visitors can book a Wine Tasting experience or simply walk in and enjoy a tasting. The winery is dog-friendly and even offers dog treats for well-behaved fur babies. There is also a heated patio for outdoor seating, as well as indoor seating, and occasional pop-up restaurant service.
