The Adventure
Known as the Jewel of the Prairies, Lake Diefenbaker is famous for its trophy Walleye and Northern Pike. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a novice, Galloway Bay Outfitters knows the secret spots and bait to ensure you have a successful and thrilling fishing trip.
Departing from Sask Landing Marina, guests can enjoy a half-day fishing adventure. This 20ft deep-hulled boat, equipped with sonars and trolling motors, guarantees a safe and comfortable ride. With all fishing equipment and drinks provided, all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a sense of adventure.
What to Bring
While all essential fishing gear is provided, guests are encouraged to bring their own tackle if they prefer. It's advisable to wear layers to adjust to the changing weather, and pack rain gear just in case. Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks or lunch, and any personal medical supplies.
About the Boat and Equipment
The guided fishing trips operate out of a 2017 1975 Lund Pro V boat, designed to handle the roughest waters of Lake Diefenbaker. With a 200 Horsepower Mercury Verado engine, you'll spend more time fishing and less time traveling. The boat is fully equipped with sonars, trolling motors, rods, reels, lures, and life jackets, ensuring you have everything you need for a successful trip.
Saskatchewan residents aged 16 - 65 must have a Saskatchewan Angling License. Non-residents over 16 years of age also require a fishing license. Make sure to purchase your SK Fishing License before heading out on the water.
