1. Parenting With Music (PWM): The class is designed for parents and their little ones, from birth to 36 months. This class teaches parents how to incorporate music into daily activities, fostering early brain development through traditional nursery repertoire, finger plays, lullabies, and more. It’s a joyful way to bond with a child while laying the groundwork for future musical learning.
2. Parenting With Music 3 (PWM3): As children reach the age of three, the Parenting With Music 3 (PWM3) class helps them begin to explore music independently while still benefiting from the presence of a parent or caregiver. Through rhythm, rhyme, and repetition, three-year-olds start to understand the basics of music, gradually gaining confidence and skills in a supportive environment.
3. Music in Early Childhood (MEC): These classes cater to children aged 4, 5, and 6. These non-parented classes build on the foundations laid in earlier years, introducing more advanced concepts and skills. Children learn about musical comparatives, rhythm, beat, and melodic contour through engaging songs, games, and movement activities. For those ready to take their musical journey further, Wilton Academy of Music offers private instrumental lessons in piano, guitar, violin, and voice. These lessons are available in two methods:

• Traditional Method: Traditional lessons in piano, guitar, and violin are offered on a weekly basis for children aged 6 and older. Instructors, all highly qualified with ARCT credentials or a Bachelor’s degree in music, provide one-on-one guidance to help students master their chosen instrument.
• Suzuki Method: The Suzuki Method, available for piano and guitar, allows children to start their musical education as early as age 5. This approach emphasizes parental involvement, with parents actively participating in lessons and practice sessions at home.
