Aerial Art StudioFly Studios YXE
Description
Fly Studios YXE, the premier Aerial Art Studio in Saskatoon, offers a variety of aerial experiences that cater to all fitness levels and ages starting from 5 years old. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself with silks, lyra, sling, or enjoy a calming low flow hammock session, the studio has something for everyone.
Aerial Silks
Aerial silks involve using a long piece of fabric attached at the center, allowing students to climb, wrap, and perform various poses and drops. Beginners start by building strength, flexibility, and confidence, focusing on basic climbs and inversions. As they progress, students can move to more advanced levels, where they learn intricate wraps, drops, and more complex sequences. The instructors provide guidance tailored to each student's pace, ensuring safety and steady progress.
Low Flow Hammock
Low Flow Hammock is ideal for younger children or those new to aerial arts. The hammock is closer to the ground, providing a sense of security while allowing participants to explore the basics of aerial movements. This class helps build body awareness and introduces the joy of being suspended in the air. It’s a great starting point for kids aged 5 to 8, fostering their confidence and love for aerial arts.
Lyra, or aerial hoop, offers a different experience from silks. This circular apparatus allows for graceful spins, poses, and transitions. Students work on building core and upper body strength while mastering the art of balance and control. Lyra classes are available for both beginners and those who wish to advance their skills.
Kids Aerial Arts
Kids classes at Fly Studios YXE are designed to introduce the fundamental techniques of aerial arts in a fun and safe environment. Children progress through levels, starting with basic movements and building up to more intricate skills, drops, and combinations. The classes emphasize strength, flexibility, and creative expression, making it an exciting activity for young aerial enthusiasts.
Private Lessons
For those seeking a more personalized experience, Fly Studios YXE offers private and semi-private lessons. These sessions are tailored to individual needs, whether it’s for one-on-one training, learning a specific move, or accommodating a busy schedule. The private lessons provide focused attention, helping students to quickly advance in their chosen aerial discipline.
