Han Wi Moon Dinner at Wanuskewin is an extraordinary celebration of the Northern Plains' rich heritage, people, and flavors. This unique dining experience is designed to delight the senses while providing a deep connection to the culture, history, and landscape of the region.
The evening begins with a guided walking tour of the site, offering insights into the land's cultural, historical, and scientific significance. As the sun sets, the main course is served in a tipi village, immersing guests in an authentic and intimate setting. Dessert follows with panoramic views of the South Saskatchewan River and Opimihāw Valley, creating a memorable conclusion to the evening.

Welcome Course
- Baked Bannock with Chokecherry Coulis and Maple Butter
- Drink: Saskatoon Berry Infused Water
First Course
- Askiy garden salad featuring local greens, Lakota squash puree, charred corn, heirloom beans, juniper vinaigrette, roasted sunflower seeds, puffed wild rice, and bison dry meat
- Drink: Blueberry and Rose Petal Lemonade
Main Course
- Bison tenderloin seasoned with yarrow and sage, smoked bison broth, crispy chanterelles, and nettle and potato
Dessert
- Traditional Berry Stew with Birch Whipped Cream
- Tea & Cookies by the Fire: Turtle Island Cookie with Mexican Brown Sugar Cone, Cinnamon, Cornmeal, Mexican Coffee, Cocoa, and Wild Rice Flour
- Drink: Muskeg and Mint Tea

Additional Information
- Guests should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
- The event will proceed rain or shine.
- Proper walking/hiking footwear is recommended.
- A jacket or sweater is advisable for later in the evening when the sun sets.
- Refunds will not be issued for cancellations within 7 business days of the scheduled event.
