The Experience
The Punch Buggy Express offers a child-approved way to 'stack' the day. This fun and interactive ride helps groups with young children tour multiple destinations along the waterfront with ease. Plan a one-way shuttle, a round-trip adventure, celebrate a birthday, or go on a cruise with the grandkids!
The Punch Buggy Express travels at slow and predictable speeds away from motorized traffic. The Cycle Guide will make interpretive learning and play stops along the way as time allows. Children and youth ages 3–14 are welcome to ride using the children’s seats, while those aged 14–18 must use one of the two adult seats to ride. Each bus stop location features scenic river views, public bathroom access, and numerous activities and amenities nearby.
One-Way Shuttle
Transport the crew to the next play destination with an energizing one-way shuttle. Departing from Kinsmen Park and River Landing on select days, the Punch Buggy Express can also pick up at Riversdale Pool, Vimy Memorial Bandstand, and the water fountain behind Meewasin Rink. It's a fun and practical way to explore new areas and reach favorite spots.
Round-Trip Tour
Enjoy a scenic riverbank tour that returns the crew back to the starting point. Discover the riverbank from a new perspective on the return ride. Default pick-ups are available from Kinsmen Park, River Landing, and special event sites like Jazz Fest at Victoria Park. This option is perfect for a leisurely outing that brings the journey full circle.
Creative Bookings
Would a customized experience be ideal for a birthday party, daycare, or multi-family group? The Punch Buggy Express team is happy to work with you to customize elements of the ride. These take place on Meewasin trails and always include at least one adult on board to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure.
